Pixel Academy - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
- Welcome to Pixel Academy. By accessing and participating in any of our educational events or programs (including but not limited to coding classes, tech bootcamps, and workshops), you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
- Our programs are open to children aged 5 years and above. Some advanced programs may require age-specific or prior knowledge prerequisites, which will be clearly communicated during registration.
3. Registration and Payment
- All participants must complete the official registration process via our website or at our offices.
- Payment must be made in full before the start of the program.
- Program fees are non-refundable except under specific conditions (see Section 5).
4. Program Schedule
- Event schedules (such as weekend classes and bootcamps) are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. All changes will be communicated via email, phone, or official social media channels.
- Each participant must adhere to class schedules and attendance expectations.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 5 days before the program starts.
- A full refund will be issued for cancellations made within the allowable period.
- No refunds will be issued once a session has begun, except for cases of program cancellation by Pixel Academy.
6. Code of Conduct
- Participants must respect instructors, staff, and fellow learners.
- Bullying, disruptive behavior, or misuse of Academy equipment will not be tolerated.
- Pixel Academy reserves the right to dismiss any participant who violates these standards, with no refund.
7. Media and Consent
- By registering, parents/guardians give permission for photographs, videos, and creative work of their child(ren) to be used for marketing, website, or social media purposes unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
8. Intellectual Property
- All materials, content, and technology used during training sessions remain the intellectual property of Pixel Academy unless otherwise stated. Students may not replicate, distribute, or resell these materials.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Pixel Academy is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during program sessions. Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety of children before and after scheduled class times.
10. Modifications
- We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. All updates will be posted on our website and will take immediate effect.
11. All our contractual relations will be governed exclusively by Kenya law.
